How To Mend A Broken Relationship
The best way to mend a broken relationship is to try to save it BEFORE it gets broken in the first place. It is not always easy to keep a relationship going, especially after it has lost that new relationship smell. However, there are many different things that you can do to keep your girlfriend's heart, and keep you both from breaking up.
First, how to keep your partnership from being broken in the first place, and then what you can do if it does get broken somehow. Now you have heard of the holy trinity when it comes to religion. A good relationship has a holy trinity as well. You may be the biggest romantic ever, the best lover in the world, but without this holy triangle, your relationship is going to fail and when that happens you are going to have more problems to mend a broken relationship.
The top of the triangle is communication. This means being able to talk with your girl about anything, even if it hurts, or you think she is going to be mad. You need to be able to talk about your hopes, your fears, the past, as well as the future. The next point on the triangle is honesty. You have to be honest with her, no matter what. This doesn't mean telling her those pants make her look fat, this means if there is a problem like you screwed up the bank account, were somehow unfaithful, you need to come clean.
In order to do this, you need to communicate with her. You can't keep it a secret because she will not only find out sooner or later, but it will eat you up inside. It is better to hear bad things from you, than to find out from some other source.
The third point is trust. You both have to be able to trust each other, and if you do, then there is no worry about her, or you, going out with friends alone. Almost everyone at one time or another has experienced infidelity. You may be afraid it will happen again. The only way you are going to be able to get over that, and have trust, is to talk with her about these fears and work out some boundaries if necessary and do whatever it takes to relieve these fears.
So if you can keep these three active in your relationship, then you are going to have a good life with her. As you can see, these three things work hand in hand to make a relationship work. You have to know that it works both ways as well; she has to actively use these three when dealing with you. If it is one sided, then it's not going to work. Now if you need to mend a broken relationship, then you both have to sit down and talk about things first.
If you know that emotions are going to run high, then get someone, not your friends, but a relationship counselor, to mediate. Talk about these problems that you are having, talk about ways to resolve them. If you both truly want to mend a broken relationship, then all issues have to be brought to the table and worked out before you can start to mend and heal.
